Bibliotheca Diatomologica, Volume 14: Diatoms from Viti Levu, Fiji Islands
In 18 samples from Viti Levu, the Fiji Islands, 61 diatom genera with a total of 540 taxa are recorded, viz. 287 polyhalobe, 78 mesohalobe and 175 oligohalobe species. A total of 359 taxa are supposed to be cosmopolitan. In 33 plates with 336 photos of specimens from the investigated material 238 different taxa are depicted.
