Bibliotheca Diatomologica, Volume 9: Naviculaceae: Neue und Wenig Bekannte Taxa Neue Kombinationen und Synonyme sowie Bemerkungen zu einigen Gattungen [Naviculaceae: A Description of New and Poorly Known taxa, and New Combinations and Synonyms and Some Co

As part of the freshwater flora of Central Europe established by A. Pascher this completely new identification guide is published as volume 2, Part 1. The tradition of the version edited by F. Hustedt from 1930 has been largely retained, but the many new insights gained over the past 55 years have also been taken into account. This does not only apply to a large number of new taxa – new findings in the morphological structure analysis after the introduction of the SEM are just as important. These findings in particular have contributed significantly to the clarification of systematic problems.
