Ecotone Series 1000 Mist Net (45mm Mesh)
This mist net has a mesh size of 45 x 45mm and is made from nylon (110 denier/2 ply). Suitable for owls, small to medium raptors, medium to big waders, and medium to big ducks
This nylon mist net is thin and very effective, yet stronger and more durable than Series 700 mist nets. This makes it ideal for long term work; after 500 days of continuous field exposure, they are as strong and black as new nets. The net is equipped with wind block lines and colour marked loops. Available in lengths of 12 or 18m. The net height is 3.4m and has 4 shelves.
For safe mist net extractions, we recommend the purchase of our Mist Net Strand Cutter.
The sale of mist nets is restricted to those with an appropriate licence or permit. Please provide a copy when ordering.
Please note - we currently have one 12m mist net in stock that has a height of 3.2m. If you have a specific height requirement then please let us know when ordering.
