About this product

Ecotone Series 700 Mist Net (16mm Mesh)

This mist net has a mesh size of 16 x 16mm and is made from nylon (70 denier/2 ply). Suitable for small passerines, as well as day catching of storm petrels.

This nylon mist net is hardly visible, very soft and usually used for catching birds in open habitats. The net is equipped with wind block lines and colour marked loops. Available in a variety of lengths (3, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18m), each net is 2.5m high and has 5 shelves, except the 1m high net which is 12m in length and has two shelves.

For safe mist net extractions, we recommend the purchase of our Mist Net Strand Cutter.

The sale of mist nets is restricted to those with an appropriate licence or permit. Please provide a copy when ordering.
