Ecotone Ultra Thin Series M Mist Net (14mm Mesh)
This Ultra Thin Series M mist net has a mesh size of 14 x 14mm and is made from nylon (0.08mm monofilament). Suitable for bats and small passerines.
This nylon monofilament is nearly invisible and is ideal for catching bats and small birds. It has a proven design that has been used to good effect on many bat netting nights, including those at the 14th International Bat Research Conference in Merida (Mexico). The net is equipped with wind block lines and colour marked loops. Available in a variety of lengths (3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 21m), each net is 2.4m high and has 4 shelves.
For safe mist net extractions, we recommend the purchase of our Mist Net Strand Cutter.
The sale of mist nets is restricted to those with an appropriate licence or permit. Please provide a copy when ordering. Please note that these nets are much finer than other mist nets and bats / birds may become more tangled.
