External Microphone Adapter for the Anabat Walkabout
The Anabat Walkabout Adapter clips onto the front of the Walkabout, replacing the cone attachment, and allows you to connect a highly directional, stainless steel microphone. The adapter plugs into the external microphone jack on the side of the Anabat Walkabout and also enables you to connect the microphone to the front of the Walkabout with an extension cable.
The adapter is particularly useful for the following applications:
- Recording in areas with high insect noise
- Recording high-frequency bats (>150kHz)
- Driving transects
