Kite APC Binoculars 42

The Kite APC Binoculars are a powerful pair of image stabilising binoculars which combine Kite's fantastic optics with an innovative image stabilisation software. These binoculars are perfect for observing wildlife in unfavourable windy conditions or when viewing from driving vehicles where conventional binoculars are extremely hard to steady and limit the visibility of the target animal. This assisted stabilisation is also helpful for minimising the effects of hand shake at high magnifications due to strain, enabling you to use the binoculars for longer.

These binoculars are easy to use, featuring an automatic on-off system. When the binoculars are hanging from the neck the APC (angle power control) image stabilisation system is automatically turned off, ensuring you do not waste battery life, however as soon as the binoculars are raised horizontally to view through them this system is activated. This automatic system means you do not have to worry about operating buttons when using the binoculars in the field, allowing greater focus to be paid on finding and viewing the animal. The APC 42 binoculars are powered by 4 AA batteries in two battery packs, which provide an overall battery life of 120 hours. The bincoulars also have a small indicator light which will indicate when the battery life is low.

The Kite APC binoculars have an ergonomic design, allowing you to easily adjust the focus wheel with a few fingers, and they are extremely lightweight at just over 720g The optics and electronics are sealed in an IPX 7 waterproof rated housing, allowing you to use the binoculars in the heaviest of rain showers. The whole system is also nitrogen gas filled to prevent internal fogging.
