The Pulsar Orni XG35 features a highly sensitive 640×480, 12 µm, <20 mK sNETD thermal sensor, combined with a powerful 35 mm f1.0 objective lens. This provides remarkable levels of image detail, enabling easy detection and identification at distances extending up to 1,800 m. A wide 12.5° field of view is perfect for scanning your environment, and a 2.5-20x magnification range and 8x digital zoom allow for closer inspection and enhanced identification without sacrificing quality. Digital image stabilisation reduces the effects of camera shake and image blur caused by shaking hands or bumpy terrain, and a precision laser rangefinder is located under the objective lens, providing a remarkable 1500 m distance measuring range with an accuracy of ±1 m. The Orni LRF XG35’s focus wheel is located just in front of the viewfinder, allowing for one-handed focus adjustments. A four-button arrangement has been ergonomically arranged, offering control over all of the most commonly used digital functions with one hand. An ambidextrous wrist strap and symmetrical chassis design enable comfortable left- or right-handed operation, and haptic feedback will provide a short vibration when a button is pressed, confirming any button presses.
Equipped with Pulsar’s innovative dual-battery system, the Orni LRF combines an internal rechargeable battery with a removable, rechargeable APS5 battery for up to 12 hours of uninterrupted power distribution. Both batteries will display their charge percentage on-screen, allowing for accurate power monitoring. Each battery can be charged via the USB-C port. Built-in recording with audio and still image capture is stored to the device’s 64 GB of internal memory at the press of a button. These images can be downloaded via a USB-C connection or through the Wild Vision app, where they can be shared with friends or on social media. Connect the Orni to your smartphone or tablet via the Wild Vision app and discover a wide range of digital connectivity features, including the ability to: use your phone as a second screen when a hands-off approach is needed; download firmware updates to keep your device running at the top of its game; use your phone as a remote control.
