Tiger Moon
Compelling account of the authors' two years amongst the elusive and highly endangered tigers of Nepal's Royal Chitwan National Park. The Sunquists tracked the tigers using radio collars, and gathered a wealth of information on the previously little-understood private life of these powerful predators. 2002 reprint has a new afterword describing efforts to reconnect fractured Nepalese habitats.
Fiona Sunquist is a wildlife writer and photographer whose works have appeared in many books and magazines. Mel Sunquist is a wildlife ecologist with the University of Florida. They are the authors of Wild Cats of the World, also published by the University of Chicago Press.
